Has anyone hunted with these folks: touch africa safaris or Dean Stobbs in Zim?
Come see me and Tuffpak at DSC booth 4536.
Thanks for your help.
Harry
I just had granddaughter go thru the FTW safari shooting course. Expensive but worth every penny. Now son wants to go!

Afaik this is the Collett's operation and is is defunct, sadly, due to a belated land grab.

Russ...
Touch Africa Safaris is alive and well.
Jonathan Collett and Dean Stobbs are partners and working together.

You will find that the operation moved from the old farm to the Bubble Valley Conservancy.

They have a booth at the DSC convention... stop by and visit them.

They will provide you a very good safari...

I will stop by and say hi and visit with them, while I am walking the halls.

I've hunted with Dean Stobbs in Zimbabwe (5 times I think?) and I've brought him with me to hunt in South Africa, Ethiopia, Benin, Cameroon (twice, where we hunted with his old school pal Guav Johnson), among other places.

We're hunting leopard together in Bubye in June.

When he's not being my PH, he's filming my hunts. And dealing with any annoying issues which come up, since I also get him to book these hunts for me.

All of this is to say that I trust him completely. He's a first rate PH and will always look out for his client's interests, even where it might cost him.
