This is worth seeing, if you haven't already seen it. I hope to see one someday. I'll be hunting northern RSA next spring. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to see one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEAGxQqC6hI

I especially like the scene where the young woman scientist is reading a book in 115oF heat draped in wet towels, which are covered in thirsty African honey bees - ish!!

This one never gets old: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4r7wHMg5Yjg Jason "You're not hard-core, unless you live hard-core." _______________________ Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt. Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure. -Jason Brown

Does anybody hunt the honey badger? Just curious. Cool video by the way. Sand Creek November 29 1864

I heard that some hunter had to shoot one in self defense - the honey badger attacked him. For me, the honey badger represents what is the essence of Africa - tough, tougher and toughest and an incredible will to live. But yes, they are hunted. Use enough gun!
