How did you get the dimensions to cast them (impression of the originals, measurements, "guesstimate" etc.,)? How do they stack up against the "real" thing?

Thinking about a PAC hunt and wouldlike to be able to display the "trophy" if I were to be successful.

I saw a set in camp in RSA, very convincing looking right down to the fine cracks and staining at the lip.
