wife and I were packed and ready for Friday at 2:50 for Frankfurt and Windhoek. Wife's blood count went to hell again and doc says we can not leave the states. Instead we will do Cat Scans and Bone Marrow test and more blood work and.....
So much for hunting Namibia, South Africa and sight seeing in Cape Town.
Bah!! Humbug!!!! Frowner

Harry,

I know what your going through. Last year, just weeks before we were to leave for South Africa, we found out LaRita had the big "C". Thankfully everything worked out and we went a couple of months later. I hope you both have better days.

I am sure she is as disappointed as you but for now of course you must focus on the health issue. Luckily you had a medical team trained enough to catch the problem and I am sure to treat the issures at hand.
Our prayer is with her recovery.

Hey Mims you old dog, dang that's bad luck in that it stops your hunt, but good that you found it before you left! Tell that little lady she is in our prayers! Hang in there, she's more improtant than all the hunting in Africa combined. When she gets well, you will both enjoy it that much more!

Kidding aside, I firmly believe in the power of prayer. It just plain works too much to be a concidence. I'll put my two cents in with the Good Lord that everything is o.k. (or will soon be that way!)...
