I find many of the threads here to be far more interesting than any magazine article.

The magazine stories tend to deal in generalizations and regurgitate the same tired old homilies as this one does.

The recent AR thread about leopards guns, for example, delved into all kinds of questions the hunting magazine never touch.

I would not be surpised to see magazines as we know them get eaten up by the internet and then disappear.

Anyone that has only killed a hundred or so buffalo is not qualified to comment on using enough gun! Smiler
