Sevens- Unless I misread the information at www.charlesdaly.com, it appears the .375 is now available. It is a mauser 98 action. Can buy just the action or the action and barrel for custom work or buy the entire gun built by Daly.

I doubt seriously if you'll get a mauser action for the .375 length shells yet this year from Daly. If you really want a whitworth, go to gunshows, scour the used racks until you find it and bite the bullet.

I did read here the other day that someone has managed to get an action from them.....but the data on their website has been that way for many months.

For the lefties,

Whats wrong with this picture? Nothing if youre included in the 15 to 20 % of the population who happen to be left handed.

Charles Daly Mauser Rifles are a great fit for left-handers. Currently Charles Daly offers Superior Grade left handed rifles in .30-06 and Mini-Mauser in .223. We also offer left-handed barreled actions in .223 and .30-06. Left-handed barreled actions in both standard Mauser and Mini-Mauser are available in Hi-Polish, Matte Blue, and soon in Stainless Steel finishes. Through out the year Charles Daly will introduce new left handed calibers in both Superior Grade and barreled actions.

Left-handed Mauser Actions share the same strong internal components of their right-handed counterparts. All internal parts are machined form forgings, including a one-piece steel trigger guard and hinged steel floorplate. The actions include a two position positive sliding safety on the side of the receiver, and an adjustable trigger with a serrated blade face. The bolt and bolt handle are machined form one solid forging providing for maximum strength.

Left-Handed Charles Daly Mauser and Mini-Mauser rifles and barreled actions also enjoy the protection of our industry leading Limited Lifetime Repair Policy.

There is a photo of the above rifle, but it didn't copy on this post. Go to their site at; www.charlesdaly.com

Roger, you use the term "we" when talking about Charles Daly are you associated with them? I've been emailing KBI Inc for over a year about the left handed actions and they've told me consistently that they have no plans to sell lefthanded actions or barreled actions. I asked them specifically about lefthanded 375 H&H barreled actions and they said it is not in any of their plans for the forseeable future.

I've been waiting for so long for that .375 H&H length Daly Mausser that when I saw one for $325 I just said "Get it Now".....what a mistake....one of Daly's distributors is selling them for $257...and the mini for $202.

Live and learn...wish I could remember the distributors name...Jerry someone...

Apparantly Daly has released them without updating the internet or folks that signed up for emails when they was available.....something smells here....but I'll update this when I get the action...

Fjold,

We also offer left-handed barreled actions in .223 and .30-06.

Sorry, but I'm not so lucky. This sentence is from their posting at the website you can pull up from the Web address I included in my post. There is a picture of the left handed rifle accompanying the article I posted. Nice looking gun also.
