Having been to DSC many times I want to attend SCI at least once before I get too damn old to walk the entire floor. Thinking about taking my fifth wheel to Arizona next year about the same time SCI will be meeting and scooting up to Vegas for a few days to attend SCI. Anyone done that? Recommendations? A park with a shuttle to the convention would be a plus. Will have the wife so I want someplace nice, no dumps. TIA

My wife and I have driven from Phoenix to Las Vegas in our motorhome. We stayed at the Silverton RV park, which is part of the Silverton Casino, which is connected to Bass Pro.

It's a 15 minute drive to show but we always tow my truck. Nice park, walking distance to the Casino restaurants and Bass Pro.

I have stayed twice in an RV during the convention-both times at Circus Circus. But last time was about 10 years ago. Worked out fine.

yep, stayed there once as well. It just felt like being in a parking lot to me. But if you're just going to the convention, what difference would it make.
