Crocodiles kill Buhera man Post Reporter April 23, 2010 AN unidentified man was recently attacked and killed by crocodiles at Ruti Dam in Buhera District. Police confirmed the incident and said the mutilated body of the unidentified victim was found lying on the spillway. "The remains were found on the spillway by Itai Chirikure on April 14 at around 1pm. We found that body parts, among them genitals, face, chest, left arm and left thigh were missing. Crocodiles are usually spotted at the spillway basking in the sun," said Manicaland deputy police spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Jephry Mudzemba. The body remains were taken to Rusape General Hospital for post mortem. Ass Insp Mudzemba warned members of the public to desist from passing through or playing around well-known crocodile infested dams or rivers. He appealed to anyone missing a relative to visit the Rusape General Hospital or report to Buhera Police Station for positive identification.
