Going on my first safari in May. I will be having the hides and skins shipped back to ATL and will be picking them up myself from shipping company. I will then hand delivery to my taxidermist. Do I just put my name and address on the shipping tags verses the taxidermist info. Thanks for all the answers here on this board.

If your taxidermist does much African safari taxidermy, he'll already have tags with his name printed on one side. Write your name, address, and telephone number on the other side.

Ask for more tags than you think you'll need (you need one for each skull/skull plate, cape, flatskin, and back skin you want shipped).

And.......Don't forget to take plenty of plastic tie wraps to attach your tags with.

I provide tags for all my clients. I have my name, taxidery company, address, phone numbers, and that I'm a licensed import/exporter and USDA agent, all that printed on one side, sealed in plastic. I give them plastic ties, many extra ones and a couple of markers (to write their name or what ever), that don't rub off. (I tested a few to make sure). All in a plastic bag. I always give them alot more then they need...
