WE have done it so many ways.
But the only requiremkent is to make sure your rifle has not been knockked off its zero.

For the past few years, I have been taking some of those stick on targets.
We stick them on an old cardboartd box, and fure away.

I have my gunsmith bore sight my new rifle before I go so I don't need to check it when I arrive.
