I have been leafing through my copy of Jack O'Connor's "The Big Game Rifle" and noticed a picture of an African antelope that I am not familiar with. The caption states it is a rare Hunter's antelope shot by Ralph Hammer. Can anyone tell me more about this antelope? I am guessing it is either extinct or very close to it? Regards, Dave

A real shame it is on the brink. It would be an interesting trophy. Regards, Dave
