looking to book a plains game hunt in Tanzania for Grants Gazelle, East African Impala, and Thompson's Gazelle. Do any of you have experience with an outfitter/PH named Hasheem who lists his hunts on the Bookyourhunt web site. Currently he lists a seven day Massiland hunt for $12,400 plus road transfer, hunting license, rifle permit and ammo feels. Thank for any advice.

Be careful. Any deal too good to be true is a rip off.

I have no experience of that website.

But looking at some of hunts in Tanzania on offer, I wouldn’t touch them with the proverbial barge pole!

Tanzania is one of the greatest hunting destinations today.

It is not cheap.

As mentioned above, be careful.

If I'm looking at the same offer, there are a few AR members pictured. Can you attach a link to the offer? It does seem to be cheap.
Trophy fees are extra as well.

With kind regards

I have not read this offer.

But others I looked at mentioned something I have never seen before.

“Success fee”!

What the hell is that!

Keep in mind when shopping hunts in AFrica, It costs X dollars to do a hunt for clients any way you cut it..If they offer cheap daily rate, they offer expensive trophy fees and If the trophy fee is cheap the daily rate is high is typical..Your going around the world and pay big bucks to fly, Don't cheat yourself on a cheap hunt, hidden charges are another shyster deal, and these guys can be bad..If you need to go on a cheaphunt go shoot an elk or deer, but beware the grass is ALWAYS greener on the other side of the fence. dO YOUR HOMEWORK..

Use a booking agent, he usually has been hunting where he sends a client, and he knows whose naughty and nice if he has been around long enough.

Not me, Im retired except for some old client curmurdeons who refuse to honor my retirement..so just passing it down for whoever is interested. I'd be glad to answer any question ya'll might have..

I hunted with Hasheem in July 2019. I had an enjoyable and successful hunt. PM me any questions and I will be glad to answer them if I can.

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
- Rudyard Kipling

Life grows grim without senseless indulgence.

I am very happy to hear this.

Having a successful hunt is our ultimate desire.
