Is there any significant difference between them?
They look the same for me. How can somebody judge them in the field?

To me they are the most elegant looking trophy in the antelope/gazelle group. It's a shame you need to go to Tanzania to hunt them.

The horns of the Robert's curve more outward and the tips curve downwards. The Grant's horns get much longer than the Robert's.

Geographically they occur in different regions although in few cases they can overlap.

The robert's generally are found around the serengeti and Ngorongoro ecosystem whereas the Grant's are found further East and South of there.

You need to be west in Tanzania to hunt Robert's, like in the short grass plains of the Serengeti. I hunted Grant's east of Lake Natron.As stated the Grant's horns come up and make an arch but the Robert's come up and flatten out to the side.
