What does Air2000 cost and exactly what is the service they provide?

In April of 2004 the cost was $70. I was met at the JetWay, escorted to my baggage, through Customs, and obtained my firearms permits.

Air 2000 sent me all forms which I filled out in advance and E-mailed back to them. I was out of the airport within 30 minutes.

I just recieved rate information from Air2000. If you want your permits in advance (which is, in my opinion, the whole point), the current cost is R750/hunter. This includes obtaining the permit, meet-greet, help through immigration & customs as well as getting you to your next flight (if applicable).

If you get your permit at the airport, the cost is R550 per hunter. Their rate schedule shows some breaks for groups.

They also take you through the escorted passport control desk which means you don't have to wait with the hoi polloi - which saves you a looonnngg wait!
