Dear All,

A friend of mine booked a 42 day hunt (2 blocks of 21 days, back to back) to Tanzania and cannot go! The first 21 day block ends on 6th October, he was hoping he could go from one day to the next! Since he now knows for sure that he cannot go, he is willing to sell the second block of 21 days at half price i.e. $25,000, which covers all fees, EXCEPT trophy fees, air charter costs, before and after hunt accomodation, dip and pack and some other misc costs.

The hunt starts on Oct 12th to Nov 1st. It is a full bag hunt, including big 4 + hippo, croc and all the other plains game in that area. Harpreet Brar, the operator is well known and has been talked about on AR and also exhibits annually at the SCI show. His website add is: http://www.rungwasafaris.com/

He says: the success rate for lion is 80% and elephant 60%. As you can see from his website, they shoot some big lion in this area.

The charter fees to fly in and out of the camps is dar- selous-$2200, dar- ruhudji-$3250 each way. You dont have to go to both places if you dont want to.

This is not a cheap hunt, but $25K off the regular price is a great deal!

Please email me arjun@amglobe.com ASAP, if this hunt is of interest to you or anyone else that
you might know.

Thanks,

That is indeed a great deal, though I'd be surprised if their lion success rate is still at 80%. Aside from wishing I could go on that trip, as much as anything I'm envious of the guy that can take off on a month-long trip to Tanzania with 10 days notice.

I've got the time,(retired) Spring, but unfortunatly I don't have the money available on that short notice! So I guess neither of us will go on this one! Big Grin
