I just found this report while doing some research. I have briefly looked it over and found there to be a lot of info that I think would be very useful in researching a hunt in Tanzania. It is dated (latest info is 2003) but there is much interesting data, especially for the Selous. http://www.cic-wildlife.org/uploads/media/Hunting_Tourism.pdf

Thanks Rob. I pulled a couple of the maps out of the doc and sent them to Terry for his collection in the Reference And Information forum. The Selous map with KM^2 is interesting. -Steve -------- www.zonedar.com If you can't be a good example, be a horrible warning DRSS C&H 475 NE --------

A couple of other sites which good info (and the same pdf documet). http://www.wildlife-baldus.com/start.html Click on TANZANIA (in the left colum) and look at the Miombo magazine No.28 on the website above (pdf file - next to last document). That is a relatively new publication. http://wildlife-programme.gtz.de/wildlife/publications.html Msasi haogopi mwiba [A hunter is not afraid of thorns]
