Professional Hunter called Richard Arnison-Newgass.
Anyone know anything about this gentleman?
I bought a Westley Richards 505 Gibbs with Hartman and Weiss action and it was made for this PH. Just trying to find out something about him and how this rifle got to me.
Better tomorrows to all!

Richard Ph'd for TGTS for a number of years before "retiring" to focus on his Gambledown farm. He still guides every once in a while on select safaris. He apprenticed in Zim before starting his full time career with TGT up in Tz. A hell of a humor he has.........

Hi Harry

Richard AN was a good friend of Simon Piercy , son of Ian when the Dande was run under Zambezi hunters and I was a full time Ph. After Simon was sadly killed on the Zambezi Richard combined an appyship with helping Ian run the company! A nicer guy with a more incredible sense of humour you will never find- if you do contact Richard please send him my best regards! Cheers Buzz

Well, when they have a website advertising their farm, it isn't exactly hiding...

A beautiful part of Hampshire and a nice place to live. I've fished near there a few times.

Just interesting that someone asks "do you know .... " and wham - there's an answer - 20 years ago, it would've been a useless question.
