+1 The show is same time as HSC which is a quasi carry over show from DSC. It is the same time as a big gun show in Lakeland - 45 miles away. I did not know about it till today. Mark Zuckerberg algos picked I was in Orlando and my photo include Hunting (me with dead animals) and a majority of my friends do the same and put it in my feed as an ad earlier today. If I was in town I would stop by. My personal view is that African hunting needs to be sold with regular hunting and fishing shows. Mike

I was just trying to get a quick word out to help the guys who had travelled from Africa. My son and I spent 3 hours sitting with them. They are hurting. Great people. Jeff

Hi Mike. I would tend to disagree with your last statement. I think the international hunting demographic is so diluted across the country that the shows like ISE don't get the core folks who travel regularly to Africa. I've seen these local shows have several African guys, usually from SA. They are selling entry level hunts and are not even having success at that. Perhaps Phoenix is not a good market for that? I think there are about 125 folks in the state who hunt internationally. When I was on the BOD of the Phoenix Chapter, we continually came up with that number. That is why there are so many other organizations who don't seem to compete for membership. Arizona has two different Elk organizations, two different deer organizations, the Desert Bighorn Sheep Society, Antelope Foundation, DU and even some Turkey group. These groups all seem to have robust attendance at their fundraisers. We had 375-400 and it was a struggle. Now, the PCSCI gets about 100-150 attendees' and loses money. Lots of inside baseball reasons as to why the membership declined, but the end result is what it is. I believe that this is the core of what our entire problem is with the attacks we are under right now. The entire American demographic of international hunting is simply too small. We represent no threat to anyones political future. Formerly "Nganga"
