If you will scroll down to the bottom of the forum topics on the main topic page, you will see something called The Champions, which is more shooting in the tunnel of doom. Lots of good stuff there. The other sections are funny too like the Sports video section and the hunting video section is also great.

Appears that SAEED goes through a lot of spotting scopes and at least an occasional glass door.

We had the glass door replaced 4 times.

We eventually replaced it with harder glass - in fact, the contractor had to prove to us it was good enough by whacking it with a hammer!

The rifle stock got broken once.

And, of course, so many egos have been dented! clap

I think the funniest part about those videos is listening to Saeed laugh after every shot. That cracks me up more than anything!!!

I am impressed by what good sports all these guys are, even after they realize that they have been "had"

Gerhard,

Please send me a PM with your phone number. I will give you a call and arrange for you to shoot a few groups for us.

We need an accuracy check on that rifle, and I don't want to have all the pleasure to myself clap

I don't know about anyone else, but the sound of that rifle hitting the ground is about the worst noise I can imagine! Eeker

If my math's right, that's ~167 ft/lbs of worst case scenario recoil based on the data from the reloading pages.

My 11 pound 460WBY "only" musters 105lbs with hot loaded 600g Barnes bullets. The WBY leaves a mark....The T-Rex must leave post traumatic stress syndrome!

Gentlemen,

There is no comparison between a 460 Weatherby and this rifle.

It is the only rifle I have ever shot that actually gives me a headace!

No one has ever been hurt by shooting it.

Had any of those guys ever shot a big bore before? Wow, alot of big gaps between the butt and the shoulder (not to mention between the ears) and people leaning back. Must have been Saeed's accountants or lawyers or something.

Great video though.

Never fired anything like that before but it is videos like these that make me want to. Once.

You have an advantage, Saeed. You are quite small, and just jumps away. Bigger guys like me have to absorb almost all the energy, and you can see the shock-wawes trought the "spare-tyres" around the stomack. animal

Saeed, do you have any comparison with the 585 Nyati and the 577 T Rex, I have shot the Nyati a couple of times and first at the last try I realised I want that rifle, usually goes much faster with rifles like 460 WBY, 458 Lott, 500 NE etc Cool

Christer,

No we have not. But I suspect these two might be very similar.

Our own loads are about 2580 fps with the 750 grain bullets.

I will weigh the rifle and let you know how much it weighs.

Saeed,

I know they use 750 grains bullets, but since it is not my rifle I dont have any more numbers for the rifle and loads.

Here is a video from when I last tried it!

No matter how many times I see that, It still cracks me up. The only question I have is how do you get these guys to shoot that monster?? Surely they have seen the videos before and know what they are in store for. dancing

These videos are absolutely priceless! My favorite is the guy who immediately surrenders with his hands in the air. It gives me great pleasure knowing that people on the other side of the planet have twisted senses of humor just like I do. Thanks for the gems!

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.
