some years back my brother bred two of his Appaloosa mares to an Amish farmer's big jack. Like 16.2 and nearly 1200lbs. Next year we got a pair of nice young ladies in the pasture. Three years later we got my brother behind the two of them pulling a nice surrey with red fringe on top and his lovely wife and two daughters ensconced at parades all over the midwest.
