I have a friend coming in zim in june. He will fly from Paris to Johannesburg wiht Air France. In Johannesburg he will take the flight to Bulawayo with SAA. Probably He have to retired his luggages at the airport of JNB for carry in the other flight. I dont know if he can have some difficulties wiht the S.A law with the firearms in transfert. Off course the guns dont go inside the country, but I'm not sure if he will have troubles. Someone have experience about the situation? mario | ||

I don`t think he will have any troubles.. Don`t need to go through the SAPS office, as far as I know. Didn`t think he would have to collect other luggage either. In 2004 we went through Jo`Burg on our way to Namibia, and didn`t collect either luggage or firearms. This year we hunted Port Elisabeth going through Jo`Burg and collected luggage and rifles. SAPS and then checking everything in for the next flight. Not to much of a hazzle, though..
