Through '08 we can offer a 2x1 21 day safari to include one lion, one leopard, one elphant plus 6 buffalo, and at least 2 of all plains game species to be split bewtween the 2 hunters for $29950 each.

This is a Mahenge hunt and like all our other Mahenge offers the price includes everything except trophy fees, gratuities and hotels in Dar.

FYI: The chance of getting an elphant are not high but it is possible.

While the price is very attractive, one has to wonder why these "cheap" hunts are all being offered in Mahenge, especially such a long way out as 2008? Do you have abundant quota to sell off?

Let me try to answer your questions this way. First I would like to make it clear that the only thing that is "cheap" about these hunts is the price. They will not be conducted form a luxury camp such we have in Masailand but everything will be new and very comfortable. I'm also betting at the end of the '06 season our clients will all have had an experience in Mahenge that met or exceeded their expectations. '07 and '08 should be even better.

Mahenge doesn't contain the unigue East African species of our Masailand concessions nor does it have the potential of big elephant that our LU5 area does. Therefore these hunts can sell in Mahenge less expensively than our other areas. It also let's us offer good hunting to a more diverse clientele that perhaps couldn't afford a quality Tanzanian safari otherwise.

As you may remember we didn't start marketing Mahenge until recently. What we have found since the start of marketing is that the demand is high for an experience such as we are offering so we are continuing with our pricing with a small increase into '08.
