As many of you may recall, Juan Pablo Pozzi and Pierre van der Walt made the AR community aware of the death of Mageka Ntuli, a PH in South Africa who was killed in October by a leopard while Ntuli was hunting camp rations. Ntuli left behind a wife and young daughter. The DSC Frontline Foundation contacted Danie van Graan to inquire about Ntuli. In the course of gathering information, the Foundation learned that Ntuli was not a member of the Professional Hunting Association of South Africa, an eligibility requirement for distributions from Foundation funds (for any PH killed or injured in South Africa). Notwithstanding, the Foundation reached out to a few people and collected donations specifically designated for Ntuli, and has sent those funds for deposit into an account for the benefit of Ntuli's daughter. Special thanks to AR's Larry Shores and the current president of DSC and his spouse for their generous contributions. The kind people at PHASA committed a very generous sum to help as well. I believe that others have forwarded or committed support. The donations will make a significant impact. If you feel inclined to help, please contact Danie van Graan at vgraan@mweb.co.za. Thanks to everyone who has supported the DSC Frontline Foundation. To those who have made donations through the Foundation website and not received an acknowledgement and thank you, I am working to fix the bugs that allowed that to happen. The Foundation's goal is to provide assistance to eligible individuals, but we need your help to spread the word to those who may be unfamiliar with the Foundation. Kindest regards, Richard T.
