Gentlemen

Looking at all the wonderful Steenbok pictures got me wondering about the Duiker.
I know that the record is more the 7"
Lets see all the great pictures that you have out there, common red or blue !

This is the one that I bagged. it is 5" tall.

Cheers,

Andr

I thought you might want to know a little something about Duikers.
None of my guys will eat duiker if it is shot near human settlements.
Apparently duiker living near human settlements pick up an awful dietary addition to their normal diet.
I am not too sure on wether it is a myth or fact but according to bush knowledge here in Zambia they do consume Human fecaes (CRAP)
Has anyone else heard of this??

They can often be found scavenging around human refuse pits. I suppose they will eat faeces too. The thing to do, is don't leave faeces lying around???? Try tell that to the inhabitants of that compound / village.

Yeah, I've heard that. I heard they eat any crap, not just human shit. I have tasted duiker anyway, it isn't my favorite meat...
