I've only been around mountain reedbuck a couple times, and shot just one, I can tell yours is a dandy. And the mount you chose really does him justice.

Nice, I shot one becuase the PH really talked me into it.

How long are the horns on that one? Mine had longer hair than that one around the neck area, kind of patchy.

Beautiful trophy Mountain Reedbuck and the taxidermy is really nice, makes it come alive.

I'm returning to RSA next month to try and collect one of my own. I never even considered it until my last safari. Spotted one coming down to water (a nice trophy but definitely smaller than yours) but they weren't on quota on the farm. I've been thinking about them ever since!

Bob,

Just went up stairs and looked at my Mt. reedbuck. Yours is just a lot bigger.

Congrats,

Mark

Mountain reedbuck are about my favourite animal to hunt. Where they live, size, habits, challenge and generally very overlooked by visiting trophy hunters.
Yours is a very good one.
