My Partners wife just called and told me that on her way home form town with her daughter then were coming up the hill to their house when a Rhino bull crossed the road in front of them. It spun when it saw the bakkie (pickup truck) and stood staring at it. She stopped and waited a moment and then out of the blue it charged the truck and rammed it several times ripping off the hood fenders and grill, smashing the front end and rocking the truck up into the air with each impact. Lizette was scared for her life and her daughter was screaming. They were just a few hundred yards from their house! Then the bull turned and trotted off into the bush. The truck was smashed with quite a lot of damage. She said he peeled off bits of the truck with his horn as if it were just paper! For those who think white Rhino are just docile and meek, think again. I have seen them come for trucks more then one time, and the warning at Kruger about white rhino charging vehilces is posted in several places now. We will make a plan to dart this bull and relocate him. Anyone interested in an affordable Green hunt let me know I can arrange it for this bull. He has got to live further from the lodge and the house!

Christian probably pizzed him off with his pellet gun and the rhino took it out on his mama! I'm still amazed the little guy wandered barefoot all over the place bringing death and destruction to anything that hesitated. Tell Lizette I'm glad nobody was hurt!
