I'm considering an ele hunt in Bots hunting areas NG-4 and NG-5 with Greg Butler Safaris.
Does anyone have any experience in these areas or with this outfitter? Thanks.

Hi
My Name is Graeme Pollock - as the Executive Director of The Botswana Wildlife Managment Assoc ( BWMA ) I can recommend and highly commend Greg Butler Safaris - Greg has over 3 decades of big game hunting exp and over 2 decades of Botswana hunting under his belt - he is a commited memeber of the hunting industry and puts in unknown amounts of hours in assisting the BWMA keep hunting alive in Botswana - by hunting with greg you not only contribute to the community upliftment programes that he is involved with but you support wise utilisation of our natural resopurce with a respected member of the hunting community

Hello Graeme: I cannot speak to the quality of areas NG-4 or NG-5....but I can state that I am looking forward to hunting area NG-47 with Graeme in April of 2012. Since returning home from DSC in January, and announcing the upcoming hunt with Graeme, my daughter and grandaughter (who will be accompaning me) have been in a constant state of excited! How they will make it till 2012 without exploding with anticipation is anyone's guess. But boys....that's 50% of the hunt or more!!
......ANTICIPATION!!! Graeme....glad to see you made it home safetly.

My friend Peter Stein of California had a very good ele hunt with Greg Butler Safaris last year. He has many safaris and many eles under his belt, so he knows a good hunt from a so so hunt. He's posted a favorable report with Hunting Report that you can obtain for a nominal cost.

7kongoni,

I hunted buffalo and plains game with Greg Butler Safaris in July 2008 in NG18 which is no longer a huntable concession I believe. I can give nothing less that glowing feedback on his operation, caps, and PH. Do yourself a favor and ask specifically to hunt with Gareth Flemix who specialize in elephant hunting and you will be guaranteed of a great safari. I can give you full details and send you some photos if you are interested and want to PPM me. I also posted a report on The Hunting Report. When I can pull the funding together Butler Safaris is where I will hunt my first elephant.

Good luck
Paul
