Contact Gerard at GS Custom bullets. Not only will he be able to tell you the loads etc, he'll sell you some very suitable bullets. Their site is gscustom.co.za

You might also like to contact 375fanatic who is currently working on the same thing. - He'll be using Somchem powders though, so you'll have to work out European equivalents.

Gerard has some 240 grain HVs that should fit your bill quite nicely.

I have found that the 270 gr Barnes are very good open country bullets. (these are old XXX bullets)

I have used mine on a Pig at 250 a Waterbuck at 275 and a Wildebeest at 360 Yds.

They are not loaded hot, just normal loads.

It is a darn fine long range heavy caliber round, if you know your gun.

if you take a look at the ballistic tables you will see that a 375 and a 06 are damn near the same. I've used a 375 at up to 400 yards with success using 300 gr bullets.(my usual load) but the 260 gr nosler part. is a great lighter bullet, and my son has used the 215 gr barnes on game up to eland and it worked fine. one thing about the 375 is that it always does just what you think it should do

I've had good results using a 250 grain Sierra boattail and 77 grains of IMR 4350 (I'm not sure if that powder is available to you, and as always, work up to that load to make sure all goes safely!!). Kudu, Gemsbuck, Impala, and even Caribou in Quebec were taken without excessive damage, and is a pleasure to shoot. Good Luck! BN

I've had really good luck with Swift A-frame 250gr bullets. Load 72gr of 4064 in win brass, Fed 215 primers. Extreemly accurate and great performance on game up to zebra.

Best regards;

the 200gr GSC 375 bullet works like a dream i get 3200feet/sec easily without any signs of presure and im still 2gr below Gerard's recommended starting load it groups 1Moa at 100m and shoots flat up to 200m with a 7" drop to 300m.

Go to their website it shows all the diffent powders you can use there my load is 82gr S341. spend some time on the website and look at the suggestions to get the right load for you.

Ill post photos of my field test results the moment im finished
