Which countries allow handgun hunting? I hear Zimbabwe does on a limited basis. Is it true you can't hunt on a government concession with a handgun in Zimbabwe?

The last time I hunted Zim I received a permit from the Gov. Check with your outfitter for the latest info.

I'm to be doing a Zim buff handgun hunt with Phil at Ivory Trail Safaris this May. It's a permit required to handgun hunt, so yes, it's allowed.

Zambia allows handgun hunting for everything. I have a hunter going after buffalo on the Luangwa with a 460 S&W this season. If you're looking for a handgun hunt book with someone familiar with the limitations.

taking both my S&W 500 (6.5") and a S&W 460 (10.5").
I wanna take one with my 460 as it's only ever been to the range. The S&W 500 I love and it's taken a lioness and warthog a few years ago. Red Dot on my 460 and a pistol scope on the 500. Both are fun to shoot.

Zambia used to allow handguns, Fairgame would know
