I havent been online much but am alive and well for the most part. I had a couple hernia operations(Wow they hurt) but am fine for now, nothing too serious.

Mom is not doing very well, we have done everything possible but we have lost the battle, now we are comforting her as much as possible. She has less than a month, but thats just a guess. Its to the point that longer isnt necessarly better.

Thanks to everyone who sent her pics etc she looked at EVERYTHING many many times. Thanks to those who only sent PM's or even gave her a thought it was all very much appericated.

I am booked for elephants this year, we rolled over 2004's hunts so it will be a good year for hunting, I need the break.

I just spent a week here in Vegas with my PH/friend Alan Vincent messing around town, we usually take a trip together to Mexico or something but couldnt this year but had a blast anyways. We went shooting in the desert the other day and blew up a abondanded old boat using APTI 50 BMG ammo and carborator cleaner and white gas. I didnt know that fiberglass burned oops-there was no danger of a wild fire as it was in a gravel pit LOL We awalys raise hell together, but are responsible.

He gave me the first copy of the Oct 2003 hunt this week, wow what a video!!!, a while back I mentioned the May 2003 video but alone it wasnt enough so I waited for this video now that I have both I'm going to make copys.

I'll be online a bit more very soon,

eric

Eric:

I thank you for your advice about hot weather elephant hunting. Some of your suggestions really helped this November in Matetsi and Chete.

I'll be praying that your mom remains as comfortable as possible during this tough time. I really enjoyed hearing about your and her adventures in Africa. Those times together will always bring back fond memories.

Keep us informed about your plans and I hope I'm lucky enough to enjoy your new video. I hope your mom enjoyed the "little" one I sent ya'll.

Eric,

I'll keep you and your mom on my prayer list. Cherish the time you have left together. It's a tough year for me, I lost my grandfather 10 years ago, we were very close and I still miss him very much.

Long Lost Brother Eric,
When "longer isn't necessarily better" is a sad fact, too common nowadays. God bless Mom and you.

you and your mother will be in my prayers. Treasure the time that you have left, tell her that you love her each day, it will make you both feel better.

Remember that she is only leaving you in body and that her spirit will remain with you until you are joined again in the next life.
We will remember you in our prayers.

Oh, my heart does go out to you. We just got the word from the Doctor that my mother-in-law has days left. It is very hard.
Our thoughts are with her and you. You are a good son to her.

Eric..
Both my parents passed within a few months of one another last year, so I know what you are going through.

Leave nothing unsaid, no expression of the many facets of love unuttered, recall your life together and there will be no regrets nor remorse.

Blessings.

LV,
You and your mom both fought, and fought hard. the string is about run out. When she leaves this world a lot of her will stay. You will realize after a while that much of her character now resides in you. That is what happened when my dad passed. When I do something well in life I can feel him looking down from heaven and smiling with pride. It's been 7 years now. I mainly feel so blessed that he was my dad and loved me so totally.
