For the past 20 some odd years I have had the great pleasure of calling John Sharp my friend. He is in everyway a gentleman and what a true man should strive to be. Whether in the bush or in a bar, there is no one that I would rather have stand beside me in a tight situation.

With the mixture of videos, this thread is too good to fade, just yet.

Outstanding video. It's great to see a break away from the stereotypical. Thanks for posting.

I loved the part that was actually John Sharp's promo. The Savage Moon promo at the beginning and end I wasn't all that wild about.

I kinda like the music. whats the big deal about heavy metal ? just because it was made after you graduated high school does not make it evil.

+1

Regarding the Enfield, I know the story but maybe John will chime in himself. jorge

I'd like to hear a story or two from John, he sounds like a good man.

It seems the video isn't available anymore. At least on my Mac the link won't work. Pity.

I’m aware of that, however the Internet is full of old stuff, I hoped one of you can point me to the right direction.

I was able to find the old Savage Moon promo video referenced in this thread as recently as a year ago, but could not find it today.

John is working on a new promo video. I believe he hopes to have it done sometime this year.

The good news out of that is that John plans to continue hunting!

This scene described above is what got me researching further into John and his operation.

End result, I am hunting with John in the BVC in August.

Yes, as evidenced by many politicians and celebrities. I wish I could see this video as well, because I damn sure am not watching the Oscars.

I've never hunted with PH Sharp, nor have I seen a film with him as the PH so I really have only his pictures to go by to form an opinion.

I have to agree with the opinion that he looks like an old hippy that grew up with Tarzan as his hero. Jorge has hunted with him a lot and he seems well pleased with him as a PH. SO who am I to say he is wrong when I have not even met the man, much less hunted with him!

Roy sent me John Sharp's book the other day.

I received it while in our workshop making bullets.

Looks very interesting.
