Planning a safari in RSA in april 2008, I asked my PH which flight companies were unfriendly for hunters from Paris to Joburg; he answered "avoid British Airways!" Have you advices and/or experiences concerning "the state of art" of unfriendly flight companies?

Maybe your PH read this thread: https://forums.accuratereloading.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/5421043/m/210101507 - mike ********************* The rifle is a noble weapon... It entices its bearer into primeval forests, into mountains and deserts untenanted by man. - Horace Kephart

For what it's worth, my wife and I recently returned from a trip to Namibia, where I used British Airways from Calgary to London Heathrow to Frankfurt. In Frankfurt we connected with Air Namibia. We returned by the same route. All our baggage, including gun case, arrived safely, going both ways. The only other time I travelled to Africa with firearms was also on British Airways, and on that occasion, all baggage arrived intact as well. I know both British Airways and London Heathrow have a bad rap on the internet, but personally I have never had a problem with firearms or other baggage with either the airline or the airport.

I have traveled to Zimbabwe, Namibia and Scotland on BA with firearms. No problems with the guns. But I do feel the rest of their service has gone down.
