I'm not an outfitter or PH so I didn't post this in the offered hunts category, but if the moderators want to move it I won't be upset. As I have mentioned before, it is possible to hunt on property which borders the Kruger; properties that have taken down their fences bordering the park. It is under the Greater Kruger Park project. My good friend and PH Jan Dumon in Hoedspruit sent to me the following message today:

Hi Everyone ,


I have been notified by the reserve that they are issuing me another Elephant on quota for the season. This is great news as we only had 3 permits for the season.
It is however getting on in the season and we have come to an arrangement on the price of the hunt.

The complete hunt , inclusive of trophy fee for the Elephant Bull , all permits and Day Fees for 10 days for one hunter and one observer is $ 18 500.

Elephant that will be hunted will be in the same class as the one pictured below , hunted earlier this year.

A Buffalo Bull can be added at $ 12 000 and a Buffalo cow at $ 1 500. We have taken some awesome Buffalo in the reserve.

This is a great chance to hunt a part of the greatest reserve in Africa.

I agree, prices for buffalo in South Africa are perhaps the highest on the African continent.

Cannot disagree more....Calculate the TOTAL cost of a buff hunt in any one of the other destinations????

And Wink, this same offer for this hunt was passed on to me for $2000.00 less??????
