Besides, how awsome will it be to have the whole experience on DVD? I'll take whoever wants to go with a stranger.

I would say keep it at $35 and 600 tix. If 1000 tickets are sold then the extra monbey will go to the hunter who can then pay for, and hunt, a few other species. I would like to be able to add a Kudu and/or Eland if there was enough left. (That is IF I won)

As I see it, these are the terms. Stick to your guns, as there will always be nay sayers, as Ann and Rusty and Browning Guy, Mike D and I are aware.

at ~120 in a couple days, and those of us that can limp along will probably pick up a few more, and the interesting unregistered, we'll hit 250 quickly, with more straggling in.

The observer should be aware that he is also the CAMARAMAN.

If the obs wants to upgrade to a hunter, fine.. if they want to go 2x1 fine.... it's a buffalo hunting package, HUNT!!

If, some time in late june, you see that there is not funds for the package, re-slice and Dice... and hold the authority to do this as part of the deal.

As for second prize in the double rifle raffle... there were about 499 of those... everyone got to pay their money and take their chances!!!

The dow is an UNFIXABLE system, and therefore should be used.

I will still suggest a paypal account, as that eaiser and faster, and it allows for impulse buys!!!

best of luck to all.

If it'll help, I'll take three per month. That's about as good as I can do with my current income. Where do we send funds? How do you want checks made out?

I think that the primary reason that many (including me) think the observer option is good is that he/she will be (hopefully) videoing the experience so that all us prospective losers will get to "share" the experience via DVD.

If you are worried about taking a "stranger", just buy an extra ticket in the name of your proposed hunting buddy or wife or whomever. If the rules so provide, and I so suggest, that the winner gets to pick from those who entered, much of the problem would be solved..

Whatever is decided, let's go ahead and do it! We can't all have our druthers, but the chance to get to Africa for a DG hunt pales the negatives, IMHO.

I'd be in for at least three, but I could care less about going with someone who I don't know, who really wanted to hunt but can only observe (what a bummer). I would rather take my wife. And, by the way I would have to buy another airline ticket and pay another observer fee for the whole hunt cause my wife ain't letting me go back to Africa without her. No Way.

She's pissed that I wouldn't let her shoot an antelope last week on an Oklahoma controlled antelope hunt where the tag was in my name because I got a nice buck in New Mexico this year and she got squat.

Let the hunter pick the observer.

I would be in for one (X-mas depeated my funds...)

Is there any chance we can pick the observer? Or pick up the difference for that if we wanted to pick?

Where/when do we make a payment?

Thanks!
