I have never hunted with him but have been in camp with him on two occasions when he was guiding another hunter. They seemed very satisfied. He has a very good reputation of producing on lion. Pleasant to be around at the evening camp fire.
Martin Ph'd for us in Tanzania since 2002 until 2010(though has hunted TZ for much longer). An absolute professional in every way. Miticulously prepares for his safari, has extensive experience with all game, is a real gentelman, has "been there and done that" many times over. I have absolutely no reservations that he will give 110% on your hunt to exceed your expectations. Very focused hunter and a great tracker himself. He has a very contagious fun attitude as well.
I have also hunted buff with him before and we had a fantastic time!
If you do end up going with him, pass on my regards.

That I will. I will be hunting with him in Zim in the Bubye Conservancy during the first two weeks of September. Buffalo and a host of different plains game. Thanks for the report.
Good luck Vaughn!!! The old Lemco now Bubye Conservancy was where I made my first safari way back in '94! Great hunting country!

My father and I hunted with Martin. 100% professional and a pleasure to be around. Please tell him Bob and Rob from Montana say "hi". You can't ask for a better guy.
