L. David KeithIt depends upon which country you plan on hunting Elephant in. It can vary from country to country, area to area, town to town, dip/pack service, parks approval, bank release and a host of other fun (not) things. It will help you the most to ask for specific advice from the area you plan on hunting. Typical timeframe: 1-2 years. Less in some cases, more in others. Don't mean to sound vague or cheeky, just trying to help you get pertinent info that will apply to your scenario.

retreeverI have put them down them in two countries first in Zim and ivory took almost to the day to years and secondly Tanzania and it took 8 months...
If your PH is with the incrowd and connected in ZIM you could get it faster then 2 years...
