Does this price tag surprise you? You can find quality elephant hunting at even less in Zimbabwe.

slimtimAhmed,
Yes the price did supprise me but, I am just beginning to look at prices and I thought they would all be in the $50,000 range. I doubt I will ever get to take a shot at an Ele or ever be ready to take that shot since I have never hunted dangerous game but, its fun to shop.
L. David,
Thank you for the response. My wife and I contribuite to Dr. Saleem Farag in Zim who run an orphanage, New Start Childrens Center just out side Harare. My wife, her father and brother are all dentists and have been to the childrens center 3 times. They open a dental dental clinics for the locals. I am hoping to tag along some time and maybe get in some hunting since I'm already there.
Thanks again for the answer.
Tim

L. David KeithHi Tim,
When your ready to try on an Ele for size, let's put together a PAC hunt for you. Day rates are very reasonable and the trophy fee allows you to take one or two extra Ele's. Non exportable, but you'll feed a great many hungry people and pictures are worth a thousand words. All the best with the Children's Center.

slimtimL.
I will keep you in mind if i get to go to Zim and make a hunt. I will probably start with some Plains game first so you may have a 5 or 10 year wait for me to begin my DG hunting.

L. David KeithNo better way to get acquainted with Africa Tim. I could go every year just to hunt the diverse plains game. Some are a real challenge to find, let alone hunt a mature trophy.
Cheers,
David
