I have 2 Husqvarnas, 1 in 8X57 and 1 in 9.3X57. I can find loads for the 8X57 but nothing on the 9.3X57. Any loads or info on where I might find loads would be appreciated. Also, any available peep sights or side mounts for scopes?

9.3x57 loads: 270 Speer IMR-4895 46gr. 2145fps W-748 46gr. 1985fps IMR-3031 42gr. 2110fps 286 Norma IMR-3031 40gr. 2000fps From this same source 286gr. Norma factory loads clocked 2070fps. I have used the 270 Speer in my 9.3x74R on deer and pigs with good results. If you want a bullet with more expansion at 9.3x57 velocities contact Hawk Bullets, they have given me excellent results in my 9.3x74R [285gr..035jkt, and in my 450/400, 300gr..025jkt]. Hope this helps.

The RWS-DNAG reloading handbook offers data with Rottweil powders (R 902 and R 903), for the following RWS bullets: 16,7 g HMK, 18,5 g TMR, 19,0 g TUG. Regards, Carcano

Hi Klondike Dave, Like you I have two Husqvarnas, but both are in 9.3x57. One of these will become a 9.3x62 when I have the extra dough. Unfortunately, I don't reload yet and at $40 per box I am not shooting those rifles very much neither. I just bought a used side mount for my model 46 after posting on the gunboards.net message boards. There is a message board for Swedish Commercial rifles. There is a link to it on Pettson's Place the great Husqvarna site. That link is http://hem.bredband.net/b102212/index.html . Enjoy, Tom Hughes

Hi Klondike Dave, I have good things about the Nosler 250 BT and they are almost as cheap as the Speer 270s. I have heard they are good for Elk sized game but this is hear say evidence so you might want to do some more research on those ballistic tips. Let me know how it goes. Tom
