Well and Truly done!

Love it when the bad luck or idiots drive us right into the arms of good fortune.

Thanks for sharing the experience.

I'd trade a bug bite on the foot for Mr Spots anyday.

Looks like those porcupine quills did have magic.

Good verse, great pics!

Congratulations, Ann...nice kitty! Buzz stood you well!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Ann,
I sure hope you get to come to the DSC. We will have to have a sit down talk about the numbers for the Texas Lottery. Big Grin Hopefully while you are still on your lucky streak.
This is in no way to take any thing away from the skill used get your leopard. The Ph picking the tree, your skill in securing the bait, and the skill in your shot to get the leopard.
However, If I took a leopard in 24 hours I would have changed my return flight to Las Vegas and put the whole ranch on one spin of roulette. Big Grin
When you live right, do right, and shoot right you deserve it. thumb

Hope to see you at DSC.

NE,

Dallas is still in the plan, just got to get the work schedule situated! Perhaps I should take your advice and buy lottery tickets so I don't have to worry about work schedules any more! Big Grin

BTW- I never did figure out what bit or stung me, I ended up with a huge blood blister. It's now gone and healed and I have had no other issues.

Nice job Ann, great pict's and report, I've been waiting for this story. Almost didn't open the thread. What an excellent trophy - planning on a full mount?

We walked that area last year looking for tuskless elephant tracks, and jumped two male lion. Buzz said at that time that he thought it would be a great spot for leopard.
