Great place, I took a nice gemsbok, springbok, mountain zebra and a hyena in Damaraland. Saw several nice kudu but passed them as I already had taken one further south.

I took my Cheetah (and Dik-Dik and several other animals) south-east of Kamanjab with Westfalen Safaris. The owner and PH John van der Westhuizen is, in my opinion, the hardest working and most honest man in the safari business. His wife Juliana also fattened me up over just ten days. Incredible food and incredible hunting. I am sure if you want tents, they could arrange it.

Our own Greg Brownless of Jeff Neal Inc. books for them.

Enjoy.

I hunted just north of the edge of Damaraland (just above Kamajab) in 2005 and it is a wonderful place. I'd hunt there again in a heartbeat. I've also hunted just outside Uis in Damaraland in 2007. It was pretty much in the Namib Desert and a good bit different than the areas to the north but still enjoyable.

Damaraland is a great, wild place to hunt. Just know where and what type of environment you are hunting and make sure that is what you are looking for.
