Here's the lion Fairgame is referring to. As he says, the Kafue is AWESOME for lions! It was taken just a couple days ago.

For those of you that want one, we have one left for 2011, and two for 2012.

Below is the one Andrew's client took a few weeks ago.

I've been preaching for 5 years about the Kafue, and the lions it can produce. Take this area for example, its still listed as a "Secondary Area"! Huge lions, the All-Time Zambia #1 Leopard, and the world record Zambezi Sitatunga have all come from this same GMA in the past few years. They might want to re-consider that classification?

Here is the BEST lion I have actually been there for, when it was shot. My client shot this monster in 2003.

Here's the best lion I have personally shot in this block.

Beautiful lions. The Kafue has been great lion country for many years. I took my best lion there clear back in '84. Glad to see it's still producing. Well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two more beauties from the Kafue. The first is a pic of my client Camp Newton, and a heck of a lion he shot with a bow! The second is a client of mine, Howard Langley, guided by "Fairgame". Just thought you guys might like to see them.

Matt - Yep, the fluffy ones are good! The quota was reduced a couple of years ago, and I think it was a good thing. The quota seems to be about right I think, 3 per year. But ask Andrew what he thinks?
