To some it would appear that this is almost no foreign travel. Those some that have never visited the parallel dimention of Dillingham.

May- brown bear, waterfowl on a "flyout" camping trip west of Dillingham
May- Mark Young and a bottle of Knob Creek in Wyoming
June- King Salmon in Dillingham
September- flyout moose hunt north of Dillingham
October- Saskatchewan waterfowl
December- North Dakota pheasants and geese

The trip in May to Marks world is from one parallel dimention to another. Surely strange proceedings and abnormal occurences will be the norm.

Had to sneak this one in here even though it's later, August '09, buffalo, sable, leopard, and others to be designated in Zimbabwe.

In case anyone is interested.

If anyone wants to bring me along I will take pictures of your hunts and carry your rifles for you all day.

Just wanted to throw that out there.

Whitetail in SC from August through December and whitetail in Alabama in January. You Canadians, westerners and Alaskans have all the fun. Florida deer are usually about the size of German Shepards. May get a hog hunt or two in this year, though.

(But, then, there's buff in Masailand in July next year, if I'm still tickin'.) Cool

Sometime between now and end of Mar. catching some snows around here on their way back north.

July/Aug Spilt hunt RSA and Zim primarily for buff, nyala, and bushbuck. Beyond those 3 just whatever comes along.

Sept. maybe some dove in OK.

Nov-Feb waterfowl in OK. Also planning a trip home to coastal Tx for snow geese with some ducks thrown in.

And from a conversation today, looks like a duck hunt in Arkansas may be added to the mix.

Wow, there is some huntin go'in on this year. My fellow A/R's are a diverse group with one thing in common, the love of the hunt.
Good luck to you all, but I suspect that just being out there doing it is reward enough.

You feloows have some awesome hunts listed here. As for me, most of my is done here at home, which conveniently is only 20 miles down the road. One of the great benefits of this part of the county is that you don't have to travel to enjoy awesome hunting about as much as you'd like.
Here's my year:

March: turkeys
April: turkeys
May: turkeys
June-August: A bit of fishing while I wait on fall
September: Lion in Tanzania
October: deer, dove
November: deer, dove, quail
December: deer, dove, quail, ducks
January: deer, dove, quail, ducks
February: quail
