Great pics Saeed. Presumably you must get to a stage where you have overpopulations...... what do you have to do about that and is there somewhere you can move them to?

Steve, We have quite a large area, and only utilize part of it. There are a number of people here who have similar animals, and we do exchange stock on regular basis.

Saeed, Thanks for doing your part to keep the Damas gazelle and scimitar horn oryx stocks growing... shame our USFW agency is actually creating disincentives for our ranchers to do the same. Very nice personal petting zoo. Although I don't believe I would want to pet the crocs.

I believe the process is fairly easy, but red tape. I was at a ranch outside of Brady last weekend and John Jackson made it simple for them. That's another reason to donate to CF. I meant to be DSC Member...bad typing skills. Marcus Cady DRSS

Mashallah mate, they grow so quickly. Hessa is obviously very lucky. She is a beatiful young lady while still managing a striking resemblance to her father... No mean feat!! K

Saeed, I find the images of your collection absolutely fascinating every time you share them with us. I hope it's not inappropriate to ask, "How large is your personal collection of animals, i.e, numbers of species and varieties... and the area/size of property required to maintain your love/enjoyment of these animals." Amazing indeed! Thank you for sharing!

I've hunted the scimitar horned oryx and the addax, I've yet to add the Dama. I can honestly say that they are both at the very top of the list regarding table fare. Addax #1 and SHO running a close #2! Very nice pictures, Saeed!!! Graybird "Make no mistake, it's not revenge he's after ... it's the reckoning."

Saeed, It is encouraging to see these animals, and in such good shape. In your opinion, what are the possiblities, present or future, that would allow any of these animals or their off-spring to see life in the wild. _________________________________ AR, where the hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history become the nattering nabobs of negativisim.

Rusty, Thank you, she is and we are very proud of her. Her school set up a small zoo with hedgehogs and tortoise and she is in charge of looking after it with a team of 10 students. She loves the her animals and enjoys bringing her friends to see them.

If you look at the fourth photo from the bottom, you will see that the crocs second tooth from the left is broken. You will also see how croc teeth grow inside each other, as you see the replacement tooth is already coming up inside a hollow of the one that got broken.

Nothing special really. The cameras I used is the Leica Vlux 4, setting was Program. I did some exposure correction in photoshop before posting the photos. But that was minimal. This camera is an exact copy of the Panasonic FZ200. I have both cameras - I bought the Panasonic, and was given the Leica - are exact copies. Neither is better than the other. Panasonic is cheaper, but Leica supplies Adobe Elements with this camera. For those who have their own editing software, the Panasonic is a better bet to buy. A few photos of the baby crocs were taken by a GoPro Hero3+.
