It's been a few years since I've made it down to Dallas for the convention but I have a vague recollection of a booth offering yellow fever vaccines for travelers. Is this true or did I imagine it?

I was at DSC year before last and my wife and I got our Yellow Fever shots there. It was an outfit from Georgia and was staffed by two nurses. You could get a lot other vaccines there also. Perhaps you could look up the exhibitor's list and find out.

When I first saw the title of this thread, I thought the thread would be about what vaccines were needed to go to Texas. Eeker

I guess my title selection could have been a little more clear Cool. Headed to Congo for bongo, just need to make sure I have my "yellow card" so they'll let me in the country.

No just your imagination, the name of the outfit is Vaccines to Go and they are in Booth 435, that will be in Hall B, enter the exhibit hall, turn left and go almost to the end.

It's true. The outfit is called Vaccines to Go and they are located in Booth 435, which you can find by turning left after you enter the exhibit hall and going almost to the end of the exhibits. Aisles will be clearly marked. Hope you enjoy our show.

That is what I thought too, but I was thinking a shot of penicillin after the show would be enough depending on how the show went for you.

There’s a major shortage of YF vaccine now. I think most are giving the Stamaril replacement.

My wife and I got vaccines from them a couple of years ago at the show. The ladies were a couple of sweet Southern Belles.

Might want to get a flu shot before you attend DSC? Seems a large majority of attendees the last few years have fallen ill from it.

Anytime you go to a gathering the size of DSC, you run the risk of picking up a bug, especially as we get older and are more vulnerable. Seems like I asked my DR. how long it took before the flu vaccine gave maximum protection to the recipient and it was 1-2 weeks? Better get your shots soon!
