Dear PHASA EC member/s and non-member/s,

This is a very important meeting for all involved in Eastern Cape hunting

We have only had a couple of positive reply's to our PHASA meeting scheduled for 10 days time and only 2 apology's. If you are going to attend please let us know soonest for catering purposes.

We’d like to take this opportunity to invite you and any interested guests to PHASA East Capes first provincial meeting for 2014. The meeting will be held on the same day and at the same venue as the combined ECGMA/WRSA meeting. Although held on the same day, the PHASA meeting will be held separately and not combined with the ECGMA/WRSA meeting.

WHEN: Thursday , 27 March 2014
WHERE: Bedford Club
STARTING: @ 10.30 for 11.00
DETAILS: Tea & Coffee will be served upon arrival. A light lunch will be served after the the PHASA meeting and before the ECGMA/WRSA meeting (+- 1.30pm). All meal costs will be covered by PHASA and our generous sponsors

The ECGMA/WRSA meeting will follow the PHASA meeting. The combined meeting day will hopefully make it easier and more cost effective for members that are affiliated with more than one organisation.

Cash bar facility will be available.

We want to stress once again that the success of this meeting depends on your participation and involvement. This is an important meeting for PHASA EC, we will be discussing the 2014 PHASA convention which we will be hosting later this year and we need the members input and support to make this a success.

• Report back on the 2013 AGM, which includes PHASA's position on captive bred Lions.
• Professional body status with more info about NQF and RPL
• SCI 2015 - floor space

• Introduction of Exco and fund Directors
• Fund information
• Social media and discussions that took place with our international counterparts
• Events for the rest of the year
• AGM 2014
• SECSICOM - Work on Leopard and Brown Hyena permits for hunting
• Eastern Cape Nature conservation issues

Yup, there will be
Jaap Pienaar will be there so want to get an official update as to "OUR" little local problem as well as what they are planning to do about.

Most importantly we are going to talk about PHASA and their bid to become a Professional body and how this will affect ALL pro hunters and Outfitters, members or not.
