Amazing photos. I was in awe of the beauty and grace of this dance of natural wonder.... and then I scrolled down to the bottom of the page and saw the add and photo for the "immigrant sex pests" and for some reason that made me laugh out loud. What the hell is a "sex pest"?

Immigrant sex pest. The Sun has a legendary turn of phrase, and is famous for catching the eye - and the mood - of the normal working man on the street. Sex Pest is just another way of saying sex offender.

The UK - and much of Western Europe - has had a huge problem with immigrants from the Balkans, E. Europe, Iraq and Afghanistan who get smuggled in, and then claim political asylum, and abuse the refugee system.
They get smuggled in because of criminal connections. I worked as a copper there for 15 years and saw a dissproportionate amount of violence and sexual offending by such criminals.

I dealt with a very small number of genuine refugees with heart-breaking stories. I dealt with lots of nasty crimes by abusers of the system. They have had a huge impact on life in many parts of the UK and it attracts strong feeling across Europe.

I guess I knew what they meant, it just struck me as funny for some reason. Using the word "pest" seems like calling a murderer a "bit of a nuisance" A pest to me is more like a fly in your drink than a rapist.

Sorry for the thread diversion. Those really were some cool photos. What a rare sighting on a photo safari. And even more rare that someone who knew what they were doing with a camera was there to capture it!

Got to love the comments section...

The leopard should have gone to Burger King, "have it your way" and could have had a ?1.99 meal deal instead.

Whilst it's sad to see any animal get injured it is of course what happens in the wild. Some majestic animals in parts of Africa are subject to 'Canned Hunting', where the animals have no chance of escaping and are not injured by another animal, but are shot dead by gloating hunters.

Why doesnt the leopard eat something thats easier to catch like a chicken or a cat? Or why didn%u2019t it eat the hyena? Hyenas are just dogs people keep them as pets I think.

Nature is too brutal for me.

I hunt, not to kill, but in order not to have played golf....
