I'm getting old and I forgot my math. If a life size target is 1 metre high, at what size it need to be reduced to emulate 50, 100 and 200 metres distance, when it is positioned at 15 metres? Thanks

OK, I will take a stab at it. One inch equals one minute of angle at 100 yards, two inches equals one minute of angle at 200 yards, etc., so I'm thinking the equivalent of a 1 yard high target at 100 yds is 1/2 yard high at 50 yds, 1/4 yard at 25, 1/8 yard at 12.5 yards....no gaurantees go with this guesstimate.

It all depends......

If your 1 meter target is a spurwing goose standing with head held high, it should be about 1 000 000 micrometers at 15 meters.

If your 1 meter target is the head of a charging elephant it should be made about 4 meters at 15 meters. Man, you should know that at 15 meters a charging elephant is B-I-G!

Set at 15 meters from the shooter, a 1 meter target, to emulate

200 meters = 0.0759 meters (height of the target)
100 meters = 0.1492 meters
50 meters = 0.3011 meters
