First trip to Zim in Sept. for buff, zebra, kudu, plus whatever is still on quota. Wife really likes to use back hides for throws, pillows, etc. Zebra will be for rug (duh!), and I know kudu looks cool for pillow or throw. What back hides are NOT worth considering to bring home? I assume buff is not, unless I want to make something "leather" out of it?

I always have my hides processed in Africa. Shipping unfinished hides can make for a heavy shipping container and increases the possibilities of problems. Backskins can be made from just about everything and I've had leather made from Wart Hog, Sable, Kudu, Buff and Ele, among others.

Good luck on your hunt. clap
