To all and sundry,
I have reserved 15 rooms at the Comfort Inn in Dallas. Rates are $75 for a king, $85 for a double. Call in and tell them you are an Accurate Reloading Forum member and want the special rate arranged by Max Bennett. If you have already made reservations, it is easy to switch them over...and if you had got a cheaper rate by calling earlier, that will be honored. Reservations MUST be made by the 14th of December for the special rate to apply.

The party room, in the CI, for Saturday night is also scheduled due to the number of rooms reserved. I will be bringing a modicum of refreshments, ice, and soft drinks, but any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Please note, although a psychologist, the Doctor is NOT IN for consultations on wifely/husbandly behaviors. rotflmo

P.M. sent.

BTW, I may have missed it, but is there going to be a Friday supper, too?

Judge G,
Hadn't planned on organizing the Friday dinner since I live in Colorado.
Anyone in Texas willing to take charge of that event?

Anyone,
How many people usually attend a Friday or Saturday AR dinner/party?

Just curious about what facilities are needed?

Yes, all will be "as usual" with AR events at the DSC this year. Arrangements news will be forthcoming.

Biebs:

The torch is well passed!

Emmy, Sandy and I are looking forward to both. What a great time to put faces with names (well, some of the faces, I guess) Roll Eyes.

Where is the CI in relationship to the downtown Convention Center and DSC? Only asking as it might affect other travel arrangements - aka rental car.

Looking forward to it. I'd like the chance to meet some of the fellows that I exchange words with ftf. Appear to be some great people here.
Is there a booth or something at DSC? It will also be my first trip to it and don't know the routine.

Two barrels: The hotel is north a ways from the convention center. Address is7138 N. Stemmons Freeway (35E). Hotel is on east side of freeway on the access road just south of W. Mockingbird Ln.

If you go on the net to Dallas Holiday Inn, there are maps that will show you the location of the hotel and the Dallas Center where the show will be held.

As y'all know, I love a party. I regret that I will not be coming to Dallas this year. A family visit at Christmas, a hunt in Burkina Faso in January, a daughter getting married in June, have all combined to reduce free time and use up available funds. Have fun, I know you will.

Biebs and Retreever,

Thanks guys. I am in and will see y'all there. Also my thanks to prof242 for organizing this for us. Last year was my first Dallas Convention. Being able to visit with other AR members was one of the deciding factors in attending the convention in Dallas rather than SCI, of which I am a Life Member.

Muchas gracias,
Hoot

Thanks to Max and Biebs for stepping up on two events that have become traditions. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that I will be making the trip to Dallas this year. Hopefully, I'll see y'all in 2014!

Gentlemen: DSC will once again provide a "meeting room", probably same place as last year, that will be open during the convention for AR members to use as a place to rest or meet one another.
