I hate to be the lone voice of reason here but...

You should be ashamed of yourself Dave. That lion is obviously a young breeding aged lion, you can tell from the coloration differential on the nose and it's small frame. Also the tuft on it's tail is not bifurcated and it's hooves are still sharp and pointy. Not to mention he's got a seriously soft boss.

SHAME now a larger mature lion will come in and kill all the pride cubs and break all females backs when he breeds them.

I can't believe that you shot that sub adult!

Aren't we just about to the point where he posted the poll on the previous lion he killed?

I don't think I'll vote this time around, or maybe if we all vote that he pulls it, it will stay on the site. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes popcorn

Keeping things in perspective as usual Dave! Damn funny!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

That lion never should have been shot. Just think of all the monster lion pups that will never be born now. Shame on you Dave!!!

Dave, you are having way too much fun hunting (and posting). Jeff, I agree on the Texas Hunt Co. stuff. I have used belt, ammo holder, and gaiters on two hunts-very good stuff.
